The project story
Several ideas, one connected environment.
Franz Witte documented this residence as one of its team’s favorite 2021 projects. Designer Dave Norlin described a collaborative process in which the homeowners participated throughout while the team connected several distinct landscape elements into one finished environment.
Why this study matters
Showing the work in context helps a homeowner understand how separate requests—fire, water, pavers, planting—can become one design conversation.
